Project Title: Leadership Coach & Mentor Chatbot for Emerging Leaders
Project Summary:
To support the development of future leaders within the organization, we designed and implemented an AI-powered Leadership Coach & Mentor Chatbot, which we named Adara. This intelligent digital assistant provides on-demand, personalized guidance to employees transitioning into leadership roles. The chatbot serves as both a performance support tool and a developmental mentor, helping users build confidence, learn core leadership competencies, and access curated resources aligned with their career growth goals.
Problem Statement:
The organization identified a critical gap in support for individual contributors aspiring to become people leaders. Traditional leadership programs were limited in scalability, accessibility, and personalization. There was a need for a solution that could provide scalable mentorship, bridge knowledge gaps, and guide aspiring leaders at their own pace.
Solution Overview:
The Leadership Coach & Mentor Chatbot was developed to address this gap by offering 24/7 coaching support through conversational AI. Key features included:
- Interactive Coaching Scenarios: Real-life leadership challenges and decision-making simulations.
- Just-in-Time Learning Resources: Curated microlearning content, videos, and job aids on leadership topics (e.g., feedback, delegation, emotional intelligence).
- Self-Reflection & Goal-Setting Prompts: Encouraging self-awareness and tracking growth over time.
- Mentorship Modeling: Simulated interactions with virtual mentors who share stories, frameworks, and best practices.
Impact:
